My last visit to Eirtakon made me think about cosplay panels, how they look like, what will there be talked about, how much and what you can learn, are such panels usefull or not, what should be the focus of such panels etc.

I made couple of notes myself as a person who used to be responsible for training new employees in my old company but these notes will be related to the technical side of the panel more than to the content.

Actually this was the very first panel I've ever been to so... I didn't know what to expect myself. But sitting there made me feel like a teenager again at school during the class :D I had fun. I just hoped the teachers will not ask any questions I wouldn't know the answers to. :D

So I was actually wondering, what would be important for YOU dear reader to learn about during such a panel? What kind of information would you seek for? What would you like to have explained? Showed? How would you think such panel should look like apart from the standard thigs like slide shows?
What you disslike and what you love in panels? Any mistakes that could be avoided?

Anything greatly appreciated! I am very curious what are your opinions!

I think the best things yoh can do is have loads of different information types, there are lots of characters to draw from when cosplaying and they each will have their own branches of information relevant to them. Say if i was gonna do a kingdom hearts character such as axel, then i need to know about sewing, jewllery and weapon building, where as if i did a dovakhiin cosplay i'd need armor sewing and weapons.

So maybe a load of different referencing information and an easy way to see what things you will need to know when building that cosplay could really help each showing techniques and styles for each task. I think that'd be a realy efficient and well balanced way of helping cosplayers asses what they want and how they can do it
